My name is Cezary Grenda. I live in Suchedniów, where for many years I managed the CAFETIN restaurant known on the catering market by residents of the Świętokrzyskie region as well as visiting guests from all over Poland. Now, in addition, I propose a new, original product - a quality, regional drink - "Cytrynówka Świętokrzyska".

The recipe of Świętokrzyska lemon flavoured vodka is ... over one hundred years old! At the beginning of the 20th century, when the E-7 road was being built, specialists from Italy worked on it. My grandfather became friends with one of them. It was the builder from Italy who gave him the recipe for the lemon vodka. In my family it was passed down from one generation to the other and improved. I also participated in adding that little extra bit which allowed to create the final taste, listening to the opinions of customers who drank it - says Cezary Grenda. All in all, he devoted 12 years to developing the final recipe and production technology.
Cytrynówka Świętokrzyska is a liqueur obtained exclusively from natural ingredients: selected species of lemons, limes, sugar and 40% vodka. It does not contain any colourants or preservatives. An excellent drink for those who prefer low-alcohol drinks - the alcohol content is 14.5%.
Although we have quite a few kinds of lemon flavoured vodkas in Poland, it does not exist in this form. Due to the used natural products, this lemon vodka is served in the form of a smooth jelly, if it is stored at the temperature of cooling white wine, or liquid if it is at a temperature above 20ºC.
Cytrynówka Świętokrzyska is not only often offered by bar tenders as an alcoholic drink, aperitif or lemon mojito. It is also very useful in the kitchen - for example, while frying bananas - they are delicate with an amazing flavour of ice cream, caramelized pears or oranges, pancakes and other desserts.
