CURIOSITIES
Suchedniów is famous for clay. In the past this raw material was the basis of local industry.
In the 1970's, plein-air sculpture workshops were organized here on a national scale. We want to refer to the good practices of the last century.

Świętokrzyskie Association of Weavers - a group of very active women who persistently recreate traditional weaving in the Bodzentyn and Suchedniów neighbourhoods.
CURIOSITIES
The area around Bodzentyn and Wzdół Rządowy, located about 15 kilometres from Suchedniów, was famous for weaving from the beginning of the 19th century to the 1980s. There was a loom in almost every house, hay and flax were collected in the fields, and in Bodzentyn itself a vibrant weaving cooperative was active.

FOLK DANCE - WORKSHOPS

Szczepan Królikowski – a one-man-band artist, teacher, instructor of singing, playing keyboard instruments, folk dancing, organist, conductor.
CURIOSITIES
Folk dancing is also our cultural heritage. Classes will be devoted to Polish dances and those that were popular in the Świętokrzyskie region. The dance lessons will be combined with the presentation of the Świętokrzyski costume and traditional songs.

FOLK TOY WORKSHOPS
– the effect of the work will be a wooden painted horse, which every participant will be able to take home.
ORGANISED BY
Włodzimierz Ciszek – a folk artist who grew up in a family of sculptors and toy makers. Currently, he is the only one who continues to design and make toys according to the methods used by the once-existing toy schools in Suchedniów and Łączna.
CURIOSITIES
Suchedniów was famous in the 1930's and 1940's for the production of folk toys. We have local design traditions and good materials.

THE KUŹNICA CINEMA
In 2017 the Kuźnica cinema underwent modernization and digitization. We have one of the best cinema projectors in the Świętokrzyskie Region, which allows to screen films in 4K and 3D resolution.
